Medical Devices Consumer Working Group

The MDCWG helps us understand the experiences, views and needs of people who use medical devices.

Established to support implementation of the Action Plan for Medical Devices, the MDCWG provides consumer perspectives to help ensure Australia's medical device regulations are patient-centred, transparent and focused on improving safety and health outcomes.

The group also advises the TGA on how to communicate and engage effectively with consumers and the broader community.

The MDCWG includes 15 member organisations and 3 independent consumer representatives.
