About tampons and menstrual cups
Tampons and menstrual cups are feminine hygiene products, used internally, to manage menstrual flow.
They are regulated as other therapeutic goods (OTG) and are exempt from inclusion in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).
You must ensure these products meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
