Role of TGACF
The Therapeutic Goods Advertising Consultative Forum (TGACF) is a forum that enables consultation with industry, non-industry, consumer representatives, media, and publishing and broadcasting bodies about the advertising of therapeutic goods to the public.
Forum members provide non-binding input and perspectives to policies relating to the administration of therapeutic goods advertising regulation, including the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 and Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code. The forum also provides the opportunity for members to provide insight on issues relating to the handling of non-compliant advertising as well as input to the development of education and guidance materials.
