Australian UDI Sponsor Link Template

The Australian UDI Sponsor Link Template allows sponsors to add sponsor information to UDI records in the Australian Unique Device Identification Database (AusUDID).

Using this template, sponsors can add the following information:

• Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) IDs
• Catalogue Numbers
• Sponsor Commercial Distribution End Dates and Sponsor Package Commercial Distribution End Dates
• Supporting documents, such as Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) and Instructions for Use (IFUs).

Who can use this template

This template is designed for sponsors only. It allows sponsors to add information to UDI records that have been submitted by manufacturer organisations.

Manufacturer organisations cannot submit this template to the AusUDID.

When to use this template

Sponsors can use this template to add sponsor‑specific information to UDI records that have already been published in the AusUDID by manufacturers.

If you have already included sponsor‑specific information - such as the ARTG ID or Catalogue Number - when the UDI record was initially submitted, you do not need to submit this template.

This template is intended for situations where sponsor information was not included in the original submission, for example where UDI records are submitted directly by manufacturers.
