Approved herbal name or Approved herbal substance name application form

You can use this form to:

• propose a botanical name for a herb, Approved herbal name (AHN) (same as herbal substance [plant species])
• propose a name for a herbal material that is fully characterised in a monograph or pharmacopoeia, Approved herbal substance (AHS) (same as herbal substance [defined entity]).

This application will be assessed by the TGA's Herbal Ingredient Names Committee (HINC).
