TGA batch release of Pfizer vaccine purchased from the Government of Poland

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has today approved for release doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine that arrived in Australia late last night from the Republic of Poland.

These doses are all from one batch of the vaccine produced from the same plant in Europe as other doses of this vaccine imported directly by Pfizer Australia.

The TGA has reviewed all batch release and transportation / cold chain documentation as satisfactory for release. These doses were imported directly by the Australian Government after purchase from the Polish Government.
