ACMD meeting #53, 13 February 2020

The meeting of the Advisory Committee on Medical Devices (ACMD).

The committee considered the following devices:

• A perineal bulking agent to treat urinary incontinence;
• A Left Atrial Appendage closure device;
• An artificial ligament device, screws and staples system; and
• Synthetic ligaments for repair of Achilles Tendon Rupture, Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction, and Rotator Cuff repair.

Membership is comprised of professionals with specific scientific, medical, clinical expertise as well as appropriate consumer health issues relating to medical devices.
