The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is advising that Eagle Research Lab branded selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) pose a serious risk to your health and should not be taken.
TGA Laboratory testing of Eagle Research Lab SR-9009, S-23, YK-11 and RAD-140 has found that these products contain significantly less active ingredient than stated on the label. This means consumers cannot rely on the label to know what they are taking.
SARMs taken either alone or in combination with other medication can cause serious side effects.
Consumers are advised that all SARMs are prescription-only medicines in Australia.
Eagle Research Lab SR-9009, S-23, YK-11 and RAD-140 are not included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods and have not been assessed by the TGA for quality, safety or efficacy as required under Australian legislation.
We advise consumers to exercise extreme caution when buying medicines and medical devices online.
Products purchased over the internet:
- may be fake
- may have the wrong amount of active ingredient
- may contain undisclosed or harmful ingredients
- may not meet the same standards of quality, safety and efficacy as those approved by us for supply in Australia
- may be available for sale despite not being approved for supply in Australia.
Supplying unapproved products, such as Eagle Research Lab SR-9009, S-23, YK-11 and RAD-140, is illegal under Australian therapeutic goods legislation and significant criminal and civil penalties can apply.
