What is the problem?
Sucralose, an artificial sweetener, was used in these products rather than thaumatin, a natural sweetener. Sucralose is a widely used sweetener and is permitted for use in these types of products.
As a result, the product labels are missing the required “contains sucralose” declaration. In some cases, the labels incorrectly state the products contain natural sweeteners or no artificial sweeteners.
What should I do?
There is no need to do anything. This is for awareness only. These products remain safe to consume, in accordance with their directions for use.
