K Care Seat Walkers
What is the problem?
Some K Care Seat Walkers have been supplied without a complete User Manual.
A new, comprehensive User Manual has been developed to ensure that all users can operate and maintain their walker in a safe manner.
The new manual includes:
- Some important “Do’s and Don’ts” about the safe use of the walkers and
- Important information about regular maintenance actions that users should follow.
The affected model numbers and product codes are shown in the following table.
ARTG | Product code | Description |
---|---|---|
390932 | KA365BD | Deluxe Seat Walker 6” – Blue |
KA365RD | Deluxe Seat Walker 6” – Red | |
KA367EC | Budget Alum Seat Walker – Red | |
KA367BW | Premium Outdoor Walker – Charcoal | |
KA367L | Premium Seat Walker Large – Charcoal | |

What are the risks?
Misusing the walker as a regular chair poses a risk of injury due to inadequate back support and structural design. The walkers are not intended for prolonged sitting.
Such misuse can cause damage to the walker and lead to the user falling and being injured.
What should I do?
- Review the new User Manual available on the K Care website at https://www.kcare.com.au/manuals.
- You do not need to return affected stock. All models can continue to be used as long as you are aware of and follow the instructions in the new User Manual.
