Approval under section 42DF for use of restricted representations by BGP Products Pty Ltd
I, Pio Cesarin, Assistant Secretary, Regulatory Practice, Education and Compliance Branch and Delegate of the Secretary to the Department of Health, on receipt of an application from BGP Products Pty Ltd, have approved under section 42DF of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (the Act) the restricted representations described in paragraphs (a) and (b) below for use in advertisements directed to consumers, for the products identified in paragraph (c):
- If you have iron deficiency, your doctor will advise you whether a therapeutic oral iron supplement is required; and/or
- For use when iron deficiency has been diagnosed by your doctor and a therapeutic oral iron supplement is recommended.
- 'FERRO-GRADUMET' (ARTG 59522) and 'FERRO-GRAD C' (ARTG 66841)
