Approval under section 42DF for use of restricted representations by Australasian Medical & Scientific Ltd
I, Rowena Love, as a delegate of the Secretary to the Department of Health and Aged Care, on receipt of an application from Australasian Medical & Scientific Ltd, have approved under section 42DF of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, the restricted representations described in paragraph (A), for use in advertisements for the product identified in paragraph (B), subject to the conditions identified in paragraph (C).

- The Tandem Source platform is a central location for healthcare professionals and patients to see important diabetes therapy data to help users manage their diabetes
- Tandem Source is a diabetes management platform
- Tandem Source is a diabetes management platform for Tandem insulin pump data
- People living with diabetes can use the Tandem Source software to view their Tandem insulin pump data
- Healthcare professionals can use the Tandem Source software to view their patient’s Tandem insulin pump data
- Healthcare professionals and patients can use the Tandem Source software to view their Tandem insulin pump data.

- Advertisements in which any one of the representations identified in (A) is used must comply with the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.
