Approval under section 42DF for use of restricted representations by Key Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd

I, Leanne McCauley, Delegate of the Secretary to the Department of Health, on receipt of an application from Key Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd, have approved under section 42DF of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (the Act) the restricted representations described in paragraph (A) below for use in advertisements directed to consumers, for the product identified in paragraph (B):

   1. Treatment of Vitamin D deficiency in adults and adolescents as directed by your medical practitioner or pharmacist.
   2. Prevention of Vitamin D deficiency in high risk individuals under the supervision of a medical practitioner or pharmacist.
2. Ostevit-D One-A-Week Colecalciferol 7000IU Capsules (AUST R 256292) (the Medicine)
