Keytruda (pembrolizumab) is proposed as a treatment for patients with muscle invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) who are able to receive cisplatin (an anticancer drug). Keytruda would be used together with enfortumab vedotin (another anti-cancer drug) before surgery to shrink or control the cancer and then after bladder removal surgery (a radical cystectomy), to lower the chance of the cancer recurring.
