Leqvio (inclisiran) is proposed to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) when used in combination with other cholesterol-lowering therapies. It is proposed as a treatment for patients between the ages of 12 and 18 that have inherited forms of hypercholesterolaemia ('familial hypercholesterolaemia') and have high levels of LDL-C.
