Non-compliance with standard
Blood donors whose sexual behaviour puts them at high risk of acquiring severe
infectious diseases that can be transmitted by blood will be deferred for 3 or 6
months depending on individual donor risk categories determined by their
responses to the Selection of Blood Donors questionnaire, rather than deferred
permanently.
