Non-compliance with standard
Products do not comply with some requirements of the enhanced product standard
for therapeutic vaping goods.
Conditions imposed
Imperial Tobacco Australia Limited must take every reasonable effort to inform
each pharmacist, medical practitioner or nurse practitioner (or the practice
manager or purchasing officer of that person) who possesses any quantity of the
Goods at any time while this consent is effective that:
a) the Goods do not conform with an applicable standard, being TGO 110, from 1
July 2025;
b) the TGA is currently assessing an application from Imperial Tobacco Australia
Limited to permit importation and supply of the Goods, despite that
non-compliance; and
c) until that application is assessed, the Goods should not be supplied to
patients.
