What is the problem?
Phytologic Holdings Pty Ltd is recalling one batch of Henry Blooms Infant Liquid D3 & K2 with Probiotic due to a dosing syringe error.
The syringe graduations begin at 0.05 mL and increase by 0.05 mL, which do not match the labelled paediatric dosages for infants 6–12 months (0.038 mL) and children 1–3 years (0.075 mL). This may result in a higher delivered dose, and potential excessive intake of vitamin D3, K2, and probiotics.
| ARTG number | Affected Batch | Expiry Date |
|---|---|---|
| 403974 | 42844 | Oct 2026 |
What are the risks?
- The health risk is low for healthy individuals. However, there may be an increased risk of hypercalcaemia from vitamin D toxicity if significantly higher than recommended doses are taken daily over a long period, and/or for individuals with serious underlying conditions.
What should I do?
