Some glucose monitoring devices and systems may be impacted by the Optus mobile and WiFi outage. Patients and consumers are advised to be vigilant about possible interruptions to ongoing glucose monitoring. Any concerns should be immediately reported to a health care professional.
Other devices which use network connections or Bluetooth such as (but not limited to) pain management, defibrillator and neurostimulator apps may also be impacted.
