The TGA thanks respondents who provided submissions feedback to the January 2019 public consultation paper Consultation: Options for the regulation of Faecal Microbiota Transplantation materials.
A total of 22 submissions were received, which comprised:
- 7 from individuals working in the area of Faecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT)
- 3 from individual consumers
- 3 from individuals representing hospitals supplying FMT under specific conditions
- 3 from professional bodies
- 3 from manufacturers
- 3 from government bodies
