Glucose monitors may be affected by the Optus network outage

Some glucose monitoring devices and systems may be impacted by the Optus mobile and Wi-Fi outage. 

Patients and consumers are advised to be vigilant about possible interruptions to ongoing glucose monitoring. 

Any concerns should be immediately reported to a health care professional.

Other devices which use network connections or Bluetooth such as (but not limited to) pain management, defibrillator and neurostimulator apps may also be impacted.
