We are seeking stakeholders’ feedback on the regulation of radiopharmaceuticals in Australia. Radiopharmaceuticals are medicines that contain small amounts of radioactive material and are used to support the diagnosis and treatment of serious conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular disease.
While the consultation is open you can make a submission at our TGA consultation hub. We then review the submissions.

Radiopharmaceutical regulation spans Commonwealth therapeutic goods legislation as well as Commonwealth, state and territory radiation safety and licensing frameworks.
