ACMD meeting #56, 14 August 2020

The meeting of the Advisory Committee on Medical Devices (ACMD).

The committee considered applications for the following devices:

• A peri-urethral bulking agent to treat stress incontinence;
• An novel ophthalmic implant;
• Recombinant origin absorbable meshes for breast surgery; and
• A topical, beta-decay radiotherapy skin cancer treatment.

Members

Membership is comprised of professionals with specific scientific, medical, clinical expertise as well as appropriate consumer health issues relating to medical devices.
