The meeting of the Advisory Committee on Medical Devices (ACMD).
The committee considered the following devices:
- A mitral valve cardiac implant system;
- A hip stem component of a hip replacement system;
- Tissue morcellation systems (laparoscopic power morcellators) used in gynaecological surgery; and
- A peripheral nerve stimulator system.

Membership is comprised of professionals with specific scientific, medical, clinical expertise as well as appropriate consumer health issues relating to medical devices.
