In 2020 we published the five questions to ask your health professional before you get a medical implant.

When considering a medical implant, the guide helps consumers ask the right questions. 

The questions help patients ask about: 

• alternative treatment options,
• risks and possible complications with devices, and
• where to seek further information.

These are available in 10 languages. Including Arabic, Croatian, Farsi, Greek, Italian, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
