TGA operations from 6 January 2020

The TGA's telephone lines currently have limited operations. This is due to the ongoing air quality issues in Canberra requiring the Symonston office to be closed and staff to be relocated until further notice.

Please bear with us and we’ll try to answer your call as soon as possible.

Non-urgent enquiries can be sent to info@tga.gov.au.

Update 10 January: staff have returned to Symonston but there remains some ongoing issues. We thank everyone for their continued patience.

Reporting a problem

If you are experiencing an adverse event or think you may be experiencing one, please seek advice from a health professional as soon as possible. The adverse event should then be reported to the TGA.

Please do not call the TGA in a medical emergency. If you need urgent medical help call 000. If you have experienced an overdose or suspected poisoning, call the Poisons Information Centre, 24 hours a day on 13 11 26.
