Permissible Ingredients Determination: Forecast of updates
Permissible Ingredients Determination
The Therapeutic Goods (Permissible Ingredients) Determination ('the Determination') is a legislative instrument under section 26BB of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989. This instrument brings together all of the ingredients that are available for use in listed medicines and their associated requirements.
The Determination will be updated on a quarterly basis to incorporate new ingredients that have been evaluated for use, remove ingredients that are no longer considered safe for use in listed medicines and amendments to existing ingredients as the TGA regularly evaluates the ongoing safety and appropriate use of ingredients used in listed medicines.
