Decisions under Regulation 9 of the Therapeutic Goods Regulation 1990 in relation to complaints about advertisements
This is a list of decisions that resulted in an advertiser being ordered to take specific action to address breaches of the therapeutic goods advertising legislation.
These decisions are made under Regulation 9 of the Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990 by the Secretary of the Department of Health or her delegate and are known as 'Regulation 9 Orders'.
These orders occur following TGA investigations into complaints about therapeutic goods advertising. All of these complaints were referred to the TGA by the Complaints Resolution Panel (CRP) for follow-up action because the advertiser did not fully comply with the CRP's request to address breaches of the therapeutic goods advertising legislation.
