About alerts
The TGA issues alerts to advise consumers, health professionals and industry about new safety information about therapeutic products.
An alert does not necessarily mean that a product is considered to be unsafe. Alerts may explain the outcome of an investigation or a change to the availability of a product, or may advise that counterfeit or illegal products have been detected in Australia.
