Cosmetics/therapeutic interface

In 2004 the TGA and NICNAS undertook a review of the policy framework for regulating products at the cosmetic/therapeutic interface.

In early 2005, the outcome of the review was released as a draft discussion paper that was open for comment until 23 May 2005.

Publication updates

The ADI List (Acceptable daily intakes for agricultural and veterinary chemicals), the ARfD List (Acute reference doses for agricultural and veterinary chemicals) and the FAISD Handbook (Handbook of first aid instructions, safety directions and warning statements for agricultural and veterinary chemicals) have all been updated since the last issue of TGA News.

NICNAS annual report
