TGA medicines information kit

The TGA Medicines Information Kit <http://www.tga.gov.au/docs/html/infokit.htm> has been produced to help consumers, medicine manufacturers and sponsors understand the regulation of medicines in Australia.

The TGA Medicines Information Kit contains seven attractive, easy-to-read booklets:

  • Manufacturing Medicines
  • Contacts for More Information
  • Summary Classification Chart
  • Summary of Fees and Charges

In addition, the TGA Medicines Information Kit includes easy-to-follow 'roadmaps' of the steps involved in regulation of the different classes of medicines:

  • Prescription Medicines
  • New Complementary Medicines Substances and an
  • Overview Roadmap
