TGA approved terminology for medicines
The 1999 Edition of the TGA Approved Terminology for Medicines <http://www.tga.gov.au/docs/html/aan.htm> is now available from the Publications Office. All ingredients used in applications made to the TGA should be expressed in approved terminology as this is the only form acceptable for entry onto the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. These terms are published in the TGA Approved Terminology for Medicines.
This new edition is available in hard copy at a cost of $175 (plus $25 for overseas airmail) and in the new electronic form as a CD ROM at a cost of $100 (plus $10 overseas airmail). The new CD ROM version makes searching easy through hyperlinks created in the document. The CD ROM version will also be updated at more frequent intervals than the hard copy.
TGA corporate plan
The 1999-2002 TGA Corporate Plan is now available free of charge from the Publications Office.
