Note: The information in this issue of TGA News may no longer be current. Please check with the TGA before relying on the information on these web pages.

The TGA has joined the virtual world of the Internet. We now have a World Wide Web site to pass on information to the pharmaceutical and devices industry, other regulatory agencies and others with an interest in our activities.

What's on the TGA site?

On the site you will find:

  • information on the TGA, including our organisational structure, executive and senior staff;
  • information on many of the TGA's activities;
  • therapeutic devices incident reports, which can be lodged online;
  • links to external sites;
  • links to relevant Australian legislation; and
  • information on TGA publications; some publications in full text. Recent issues of TGA News <http://www.tga.gov.au/docs/html/tganews/tganews.htm>, Therapeutic Devices Bulletin <http://www.tga.gov.au/docs/html/atdb/tdbindex.htm> and Australian Adverse Drug Reactions Bulletin <http://www.tga.gov.au/adr/aadrb.htm> are now available in full text, as are the contents page and abstracts from recent issues of the Laboratory Information Bulletin <http://www.tga.gov.au/docs/html/lib/libindex.htm>.

How do I access it?

To access the TGA's home page, you need a connection to the Internet, usually arranged through a commercial Internet service provider, and appropriate software and hardware.

The TGA's home page is located at http://www.tga.gov.au/.
