The Department of Health and Family Services on line

The Therapeutic Devices Branch (TDB) has joined other areas of the Department in presenting information to the community via the Internet. The HSH server went online with the 1995 Budget papers on May 10. The WWW address is: http://www.health.gov.au/.

To use this convenient service you will need an account on the Internet or access via a third party provider using a modem. You will also need one of the available "browser" programs such as Mosaic or Netscape - information on these programs will be available from your service provider.

TDB will initially provide useful information on registration and listing requirements, supply of unregistered goods and the TDB Incident Reporting Scheme. Electronic lodgement of Incident reports will be encouraged. It is planned to add the TDB Bulletin, Recalls and amendments to the DR3-DR4 manual to the service in the near future. We encourage you to use this service and would appreciate your feedback and comments.
