Australian code of GMP for therapeutic goods - sunscreen products

This code of good manufacturing practice for sunscreen products was intended specifically for manufacturers of sunscreen products which are required to be listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.

Although the specific Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice for Sunscreen Products 1994 has been revoked effective from 1 July 2010 and replaced by the PICS Guide for Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products 2009, as adopted in Therapeutic Goods (Manufacturing Principles) Determination No. 1 of 2009, the 1994 GMP Code for Sunscreen Products remains available for comparison purposes.
