Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee (ADRAC)

In 2010, ADRAC was replaced by the Advisory Committee on the Safety of Medicines (ACSOM) <http://www.tga.gov.au/committee/acsom.htm>.

The Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee (ADRAC) was a subcommittee of the Australian Drug Evaluation Committee (ADEC) <http://www.tga.gov.au/docs/html/adec/adec.htm> and was formed in 1970 to advise the TGA on the safety of medicines. It was composed of independent medical experts who have expertise in areas of importance to the evaluation of medicine safety.
