The TGA Business Plan 2008-09 is an integral part of the framework that will guide our work during the next financial year and identifies continuing responsibilities and major project initiatives planned for this period.
The Business Plan underpins the TGA's Strategic Plan, which sets our strategic directions, identifies key priorities and outlines our planning and monitoring framework, and is aligned to the TGA Budget for 2008-09. The Business Plan is supplemented by more detailed Branch operational plans and Section work plans.
In addition, the Department of Health and Ageing Portfolio Budget Statements for 2008-09 outline the performance information on which the TGA will report in the Department of Health and Ageing Annual Report.
