Therapeutic Goods Administration business plan 2006-2007
TGA business plan 2006-2007
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is responsible for the regulation of therapeutic products in Australia and carries out regulatory activities determined by the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989. The TGA also provides advice to Ministers in relation to the operation of the current regulatory system for therapeutic products, as well as possible changes to the system to meet future needs of the Australian population.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration Business Plan 2006-2007 is an integral part of the framework that will guide the work of the TGA during the 2006-2007 financial year. In developing the Business Plan, the TGA used the balanced scorecard approach to monitor four Key Results Areas (KRAs). The Business Plan describes the functions and activities to be undertaken by the TGA during 2006-07 and includes relevant performance information linked to the four KRAs and their related objectives.
